CocoChoco Keratin Treatment
COCOCHOCO Brazilian Keratin Hair straightening treatment is an advanced process that gives your hair a healthy, shiny and silky look. The application is based on Keratin which is the primary protein of skin, hair and nails. Keratin is a natural substance that gives your hair the ability to improves texture, condition and helps hair elasticity. Hair will stay straight and frizz free up to 4-6 months depending on original hair condition.
It’s a nourishing treatment it doesn’t damage the hair. The treatment is safe and gentle because it doesn’t contain formaldehyde or ammonia. Cocochoco keratin products contains only natural and organic ingredients.
The service requires a consultation and skin test prior to appointment.
The application process takes anywhere from 2 – 4 hours, depending on the length and thickness of the hair. When the application is finished, it is sealed with straighteners to trap in the mositure and create a sleek look.
After the keratin treatment is completed, hair will look fresh, straight and soft to the touch. The treatment is suitable for chemically treated hair or natural hair and is perfectly safe to use since it contains only pure and natural ingredients.

Cocochoco Gold is a premium hair treatment product that will give your hair a smooth, straight and glossy look. As a result of the treatment, drying and styling the hair will take up to 60% less time than before whilst maintaining its natural volume and elasticity. Gold treatment also guarantees an effective protection for hair against harmful UV radiation and excess moisture during rainy days.
Cocochoco Original
Cocochoco Original is designed specifically to transform extremely weak and damaged hair to hair that is straight, smooth and glossy. The treatment combines natural keratin protien with a rich content of natural ingredients to penetrate deep into the hair fibre, strengthening the structure along the legnth of the hair strand. By virtue of these effects, the treatment is particularly suited for hair that is very thick, damaged or unruly.

Cocochoco Pure contains pure keratin protein, formulated to repair very damaged hair. The pure natural water and mineral silicone ingredients, coupled with the highest possible content of pure keratin, enable the formulation to penetrate the hair strands and repair damage caused by bleaching or other chemicals. Therefore, Pure is particularly suited for straw-like or frizzy hair that has been heavily damaged by chemical treatments.

How to Maintain
For the first 3 days:
- Do not wash your hair.
- Do not bend or tie your hair in any way.
- Do not cover your head with anything.
- Use a straigtener occasionally in the morning if your hair becomes curly/frizzy during sleep.
- If the hair gets wet or absorbs too much moisture, blowdry it quickly and straighten.
To wash your hair and prolong the effect of the treatment, you will need to use a sulphate free shampoo. Sulphate based shampoos are not recommended as sulphate will wash out keratin from the hair very quickly. After every wash, ensure to apply silicone free conditioner as conditoners with silicone will damage the coating created by the keratin product. Try not to use invasive styling products that contain alcohol. In addition, one a week you could use a hydrating hair mask to maintain the smoothness.
Not every sulphate free shampoo and conditioner is suitable for aftercare therefore we would recommend using the Cocochoco sulphate and silicone free products.
